My love for art
As long as I can remember, I've been always drawing and doodling (perhaps a little too much during school!)
My love for the sea
I've always lived by the sea, and I don't think I could ever live too far away from it. My art often uses the sea as inspiration, and you'll still find me going to beaches to look at rockpools and beachcombing.
My love for nature in general
As a child, I spent A LOT of my time in Cornwall. Not just the beaches, but the tin mines, coastal and forest walks, the waterfalls. I returned this year after 14 years, it felt like I came back home. It was then I realised all the nature that I'm inspired by was also because of Cornwall — not just where I'm from in Dorset.
My love for cute things
I mean I'm a girl, and some would say a traditional one. Perhaps, but my love for cute things isn't just from animals and fruit. I dream of going to Japan one day. Starting in my teenage years, anime and manga took hold of me — and so taking parts of Japanese culture and their love for nature too, has come to this.
My love for learning
I chose to study Art & Design in College and Fine Art in University. I love learning new things, but also teaching too. I can now teach art and share my love for art with others.
Where my love goes now
Now as an adult, and my art isn't just a hobby, I have found love in other places. My children and God. They give me strength to do this as a career.
